Culture & Diversity
globegarden aims to be a vibrant tapestry made of children, families, and employees who represent many different cultures, backgrounds, and experiences. Independent from age and gender we believe that mixed teams are of great value and we aim for diversity on all levels.
globegarden has many talented individuals who bring their creativity, skills, and passion to work each day. Each of us plays a critical role in ensuring that we provide the very best care for families and their loved ones while caring for each other. This spirit of our culture of STARs (Share, Teach, Act, and Respect) is shared by each and every one — from our office staff to the teachers in the classroom and every intern. Although we have very different roles, we all contribute to make our culture unique. Part of our culture is to appreciate every member of our organization for what he or she contributes to our vision. We believe in energy, motivation, commitment to the job, ownership, entrepreneurship and we all live a culture of meritocracy! Find out about our open positions here.
Our employees are our most valuable resource. We could not operate daily without their daily motivation and care for children. This is why we regularly give out awards to our employees.
Awards & recognition
The globegarden award recognizes members of the globegarden family who have shown exemplary achievement in areas that directly contribute to our culture and vision. Winners are chosen during an annual process where parents, customers, partners and peers submit written nominations.
Center of excellence
The center of excellence award is handed out to the top childcare center among all. Strong parent partnership, quality of teaching, curriculum & program and team satisfaction matter most.
Employee appreciation month
One month annually is designated employee appreciation month — a time to show special appreciation through small gifts or simply offering a heartfelt and personal “thank you”. Our Facebook website allows parents and fellow employees to share their thoughts about the impact a special teacher or employee has had on their lives.
